legumeGeneral Chairman of Turkey Union of Chamber of Agriculture Mr. Bayraktar said that agricultural supports given about food or dry legume have positive effect in its production.

By these supports in total production areas of legume has increase 75,241 ha. and83,552 tons of its amounts of its production.

In his written statement has been indicated that checkpea production increased by 15,000 tons to 470,000 tons. Red lentils production increased by 55 thousand tons to 400 thousand tons, green lentils production increased by 10 thousand tons to 30 thousand tons, while production area decreased while dry bean production increased by 4 thousand tons to 239 thousand tons.
